Alaska Airlines moves to new terminal at Los Angeles International Airport.

Subsidiary of Alaska Air Group (NYSE:ALK) Alaska Airlines on Tuesday announced its 'Airport of the Future' at Los Angeles International Airport in a newly remodeled Terminal 6.

At its new terminal the carrier has replaced traditional ticket counters with check-in kiosks and bag-check stations.

The carrier's move to Terminal 6 from Terminal 3 is also designed to offer travellers more convenient access to US Customs and Border Protection checkpoints and to alliance partner Delta Air Lines, which is located in Terminal 5.
