Some 13 years ago, a South Florida-based operator named URBANRadio Licenses purchased WVNA-FM 105.5 in Muscle Shoals, Ala., serving the Florence, Ala., market, from iHeartMedia .

Fast-forward to September 28, 2018, when iHeartMedia followed through on the sale of anew FM translator station serving Florence, successfully bid on during Auction 83, to URBAN Radio--a deal intertwined with the WVNA transaction from 2005.
