Al-Sisi appoints 8 heads for courts of appeals.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi decided on Sunday to appoint eight judges as heads of courts of appeals across the nation since the beginning of this month (July), according to state-owned media.

The decision includes appointing Judge Adel Ali Beabish as the head of the Court of Appeals in Cairo; Judge Abdel Hady Ahmed Abdel Hady as the head of Alexandria's; Judge Abdul Rahman Mohammed Hanafy as that of Tanta's; Judge Morsi Sayed Moqabel as the head of the Court of Appeals in Mansoura, until 29 August when he retires; Judge Mohammed Reda Shawkat Khaled as for Ismailia's; Judge Assem Abdul Hamid Ibrahim as the head of Beni Suef's, until 23 September when he retires; Judge Mounir Mohammed Sayed as the head of the Court of Appeals of Assiut; and Judge Mahmoud Sami Ismail as Qena's.

The decision also includes changes to the appointments starting 29 August, with Judge Mohammed Reda Shawkat Khaled as the head of the Court of Appeals of Mansoura; Judge Assem Abdul Hamid Ibrahim as the head of the Court of Appeals of Ismailia, until he retires on 23 September; Judge Mounir Mohammed Sayed as the head of the Court of Appeals of Beni Suef; Judge Mahmoud Sami Ismail as that of Assiut's; and Judge Adel Abdel Samiea as Qena's.

Another changeup will then occur 24 September, with the appointment of Judge Mounir Mohammed Sayed as the head of the Court of Appeals in Ismailia; Judge Mahmoud Sami Ismail as the head of the Beni Suef Court of Appeals; Judge Adel Abdel Samiea as that of Assiut's; and Judge Mohammed Abdullah Khalaf Allah as the head of the Court of Appeals in Qena.

The decision comes after the approval of the High Council of Judgment.
