Al-Muzain, Shah XI, Jotun, Pak Green win in YACA League.

YANBU: Al Muzain, Shah XI, Jotun Paints and Pak Green excelled in the YACA Cricket League matches sponsored by Jotun Paints. In the first match of the day, Al-Muzain defeated Crystal XI by 9 wickets. Crystal XI opted to bat first were bundled out for 75 runs. Naseem (12) and Shad (16) were the only to cross the double digit mark. Zahiruddin grabbed 3 for 8 as Naveed, Aaqib and Adnan got 2 wkts each. Al-Muzain in response scored 80 for 1 off 40 balls to win by 9 wickets. Shoaib (42) and Naveed (31) were the scorers. In the second match, Shah XI edged past Dar XI by 5 runs. Shah XI batted first and piled up 156 for 7 in the allotted overs. Ajmer (16), Mohammed (16), Abdulrehman (32), Tahir Khan (19) and Shahid Jutt (37) were the main run getters. Thirty-two runs came in the form of extras. Mohammed Khan and Wazar took 2 wickets each. Dar XI in response were stranded at 151 for 7. Shah (14), Mohammed Khan (39), Aazeb (40) and Hayat (30) did their best. Mohammed Alam took 3 for 25. Later, Jotun Paints thrashed K P K Tigers by 81 runs. Jotun Paints racked up 155 for 4. Ali (48), Asif (14), Afzal (38), and Akbar (38) were the highest run getters. K P K Tigers in chase tamely caved in for 73 runs. Sajjad (18) and Haroon (11) put up some resistance. Noor took 3 for 11, Shahbaz 3 for 13 did most of the damage. In the last match of the day Pak Green got the better of Green Stars by 6 wickets. Green Stars batted first were bowled out for 103 runs. Mohammed Ahmed (14) and Riyaz (23) were the main scorers. Intajar grabbed 3 for 15 and Adnan 2 wickets. Pak Green chased well and reached 104 for 4 off 91 balls. Waseem Khan top scored with 48 runs. Abdulqader 14 and Noman 15 were the other run getters. Tahir took 2 wickets.
