Al-Deqbasi refutes Al-Lahham''s statements on Syria.

| CAIRO, Sept 29 (KUNA) -- Speaker of the Arab Parliament Ali Salem Al-Deqbasi refuted here on Saturday allegations of the Syrian People's Assembly Speaker Mohammad Jihad Al-Lahham on what is going on Syria, stressing that Syria lives a "humanitarian disaster" in every sense.

Al-Deqbasi's refutation came in response to statements uttered by Al-Lahham and quoted by the official Syrian news agency.

"It seems that the Syrian People's Assembly Speaker and his regime are still living in a state of schizophrenia and lack of communication with the Syrian reality when he described what is happening in Syria as a (case)", he added.

He pointed out that the fact refutes Al-Lahham's statements as Syria is currently living a "humanitarian catastrophe" in every sense, wondering about hundreds and thousands of deaths and injuries that are occurring every day by the regime's tanks, artillery, heavy missiles and warplanes, or the so-called "Drums of Death".
