Al Zelzal off to winning start.
In their Group 'A' opener, held at the Batelco Staff Centre grounds in Al Hamala, Isa Bahram scored the all-important goal in the 10th minute.
The former Manama Club striker collected a pass from Munther Mohammed, and fired past ex-Al Ahli Club and national team goalkeeper Ali Saeed.
Meanwhile, the tournament is scheduled to continue today at 9pm when Nomas take on Saar Youth in the same group at the same venue.
Nomas, who defeated Batelco Dreams 3-0 in the tournament opener, will see a second successive win to seal their berth in the second round.
On the other hand, Saar Youth hope to avenge their defeat to Al Zelzal and keep alive their chances in the tournament.
