Al Zayani hails HM's directives.

MUSCAT: Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, secretary-general, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), yesterday hailed His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said's keenness to push forward the joint Gulf action and His Majesty the Sultan's wise and Royal directives to put into force the resolutions of the GCC Supreme Council to make them a reality to meet the aspirations and hopes of the GCC nationals.

The GCC secretary-general referred to His Majesty the Sultan's two Royal Decrees issued on Sunday.

The first Royal Decree ratified the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the strategic dialogue between the GCC countries and Australia and the second decree ratified the MoU on the strategic dialogue between the GCC countries and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan signed in Abu Dhabi on March 8, 2011.
