Al Shafar Interiors appoints new managing director.
Al Shafar Interiors (ASI) has announced the appointment of Mazen Kaba as managing director.
In a statement, the subsidiary of Al Shafar General Contracting (ASGC) said that Kaba's appointment is expected to boost the company's efforts towards diversification and growth.
Backed by more than two decades of senior leadership experience and having supervised the delivery of projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Angola, and Syria, Kaba will be involved in key ASI projects in the region, according to the company.
These projects will reportedly include not only those under the ASGC umbrella but also collaborations with other contractors.
Green Community Phase 2 and 3, Bluewaters Island Residential, and La Mer Open Beach Retail are just some of the developments he'll be involved in, said ASI.
On Kaba's appointment, Bishoy Azmy, CEO of ASGC, commented: "With such a strong background in our area of expertise, Mazen was the ideal choice to lead ASI's operations towards achieving our present and future goals.
His track record of delivering high-value projects to impeccable standards is well-aligned with our mission to develop world-class interiors, and we have every confidence in his abilities as managing director of ASI."
Meanwhile, Kaba commented: "ASI represents the values that I most appreciate in a company: a commitment to quality, cutting-edge solutions, and global best practices, with designs that are crafted to client expectations.
In my new role as managing director, I aim to bring even greater value to both our brand and our customers by pursuing new techniques of working, diversifying our capabilities, and harnessing the myriad opportunities that we believe Expo 2020 will open up for our field."
