Al Baraka appoints Intermarkets to work on corporate ID.

Bahrain-based Al Baraka Banking Group has appointed of Intermarkets, Bahrain as communications consultant to assist the bank in implementing a new Unified Corporate Identity across its subsidiaries in 12 countries and more than 280 branches regionally and internationally.

Adnan Ahmed Yousif, President and Chief Executive Officer of Al Baraka Banking Group, commented, "The Unified Corporate Identity of our bank is one of the most important strategic projects which we have been planning for the last three years. The aim is to develop an identity that portrays Al Baraka as a forward moving entity with strong Islamic beliefs in parallel to being a unified strong entity in Islamic Banking. The new identity will be the start of a complete transformation in the way Al Baraka will operate locally, regionally and internationally while proudly reflecting its wealth of achievements and experience from the past three decades.

"The selection of Intermarkets, Bahrain was not a very difficult decision for us as we had seen their work, especially in the field of banking and finance and their rich experience in managing the implementation of identity transformation."

Albaraka Banking Group (ABG) is listed on both the Bahrain Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Dubai.
