Aksa Completed Largest Genset Project of 2017.

Istanbul Grand Airport has chosen a leading Turkish generator manufacturer, Aksa Power Generation, as the power supplier to the airportIstan.

Within the scope of the agreement made with IGA, Aksa installed 45 x 2500 kVA generators supplying 112,5 MVA energy for the Istanbul New Airport project in a short period.

Aksa Power Generation that manufactures in 3 continents and exports to 160 countries continues to meet the entire energy need of yGA which is expected to offer services to more than 200 million passengers, 15 airlines and 350 destinations.

The largest generator project of 2017 comes to life with the support of Aksa. Aksa Power Generation provides energy supply of a capacity over 100 MW to Istanbul Grand Airport with 2500 kVA generators consisting of 45 X AP 2500 model. That includes 15+15=30 synchronic system, 5+5=10 synchronic system and 3 medium voltage generators. 300 mobile generators are also used in the field during construction.

10 engineers and 30 technicians are working in the execution of the huge project that includes 2 data centers with UPTIME TIER3 certificate which is a first in the world and energy center generator rooms.

Istanbul Grand Airport which is one of the largest projects in recent years gets 24/7 uninterrupted service support from Aksa Power Generation.
