Akmal may be found out by dangerous Proteas; CRICKET.

Byline: James Milton

PAKISTAN'S superb bowling has papered over the cracks in their top order on their run to the semi-finals but today they face a dangerous South African attack..

Makeshift opening batsman Kamran Akmal is in the firing line and the wicket-keeper may be found out by the likes of Dale Steyn and Wayne Parnell.

Akmal made 57 against Ireland and 41 against Holland but against Test-playing nations he has scores of 6, 5 and 19..

And in those three matches, he claimed just two dismissals behind the stumps - a catch and a stumping in the defeat against Sri Lanka.

Sporting Index are hoping that there will be some big individual scores in the two semi-finals and the final..

The firm's tournament 50-ups market opened up at 570-610 but the make-up after the Super Eight stage is just 323 - Chris Gayle's 88 against Australia is still the highest score.
