Airport potential assessed. (Around the North).

Timmin's council along with city's economic development corporation is assessing the airport for a potential economic development site.

Presently the city is acquiring land surrounding the airport property--something that could pose as a possible venture for businesses that want to situate closer to the transport area. Timmins development officers are expecting the mining sector to participate in such endeavours should the plan come to fruition.

Timmins would consider expanding up to Hudson Bay and include additional airlines to the airport.
