AirTran launches fare sale.


AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings Inc (NYSE: AAI), has launched a sale for flights to all its destinations with fares starting at USD39 each way.

The airline said that travellers may purchase these sale fares at or via AirTran Airways' reservations centres, with the special fares available for purchase until 15 December 2005.

The fares are reportedly good for travel through 1 March 2006 and are not valid for travel on Sundays.
