Under the contract, AWAC will operate up to 60 50-seat CRJ aircraft for United Express, as well as 17 BAe-146s through to 2005 and at least ten of the BAe-146s beyond that. The new flight contract covers an 11-year period and is effective immediately.
The ground-handling contract has a two-year term under which AWAC will provide ground handling services to AWAC-operated United Express flights at Denver and Chicago, as well as at 18 other stations served by United Express.
