Air Techniques International Acquires UK-based DOP Solutions, Academy for Cleanroom Testing.

MANews-(C)2009-2016

18 March 2016 - US-based test equipment maker Air Techniques International has acquired DOP Solutions and the Academy for Cleanroom Testing in the UK, the company said.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

DOP Solutions is a UK-based manufacturer of aerosol photometers and generators, while the Academy for Cleanroom Testing is a UK based provider of training and education services.

With these acquisitions, ATI expands the breadth of its cleanroom-testing products and services and strengthens its position in Europe to support customers and partners in the region.

Since 1988, DOP Solutions has been in clean air testing, offering a range of aerosol detection and generation instruments and accessories including positive injection pumping systems, aerosol injection ports, sparge pipes, and smoke generators.

The Academy for Cleanroom Testing grew from a heritage of providing theory and practical training for cleanroom testing, based on proven techniques and industry standards such as ISO 14644 and EN12469/NSF49.

Tim Triggs, co-owner and director of DOP Solutions and ACT, will lead ATI's business operations in the geographic region from Europe to India.

ATI is a division of Hamilton Associates, Inc., a privately owned Baltimore manufacturing firm comprised of several specialty businesses.
