Etihad Airways on Sunday announced that Air Seychelles has unveiled a two-year business plan intended to improve its fortunes and position as a premium carrier in the Indian Ocean region.
Under the plan Air Seychelles will renew its fleet and use equity partner Etihad Airways' know how, reputation and global route network to maximise efficiencies, boost sales opportunities and launch a scholarship training programme for Seychellois.
The plan was announced after the first meeting of the new Air Seychelles board of directors after the purchase by Ethihad Airways of a 40% share in January 2012.
