Air Products and Chemicals establishes subsidiary.

Air Products and Chemicals, Allentown, PA, has established a Mexican subsidiary, Air Products and Chemicals de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. The subsidiary, aimed at capitalizing on regional growth, will increase the company's local sales and service capabilities for its polymer and polyurethane chemical products. The Mexican company will serve the automotive, construction, textile, adhesives, inks and coatings and furniture industries.

Fernando Calderon has been appointed general manager for the operation. Stationed in Mexico City, Mr. Calderon will focus on building local presence to provide better service and stronger relationships, strengthen the company's technical service capabilities and support the overall growth of the polymer and polyurethane chemical lines.
