Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.

Citing the continuing escalation of raw material prices, Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (Allentown, Pa.), has announced that it is increasing the prices of the following products, effective February 2000:

* all epoxy hardeners, reactive diluents and modifiers--marketed under the Amicure, Ancamine, Ancamide, Ancarez, Anchor, Anquamine, Anquamide, Epodil, Imicure, Dicyanex, Nourybond, and Curezol trademarks--by $0.05/lb in North America;

* all grades of polyvinyl alcohol--marketed under the Airvol trademark--by $0.05/lb in the United States and Canada, and by $100/metric ton outside the U.S. and Canada;

* higher amines--including n-propyl, isopropyl, n-butyl, and isobutyl amines--by $0.03/lb in North America, DM 140/metric ton in Europe, and $80/metric ton in Latin America and Asia.
