Air France selects Sun Microsystems.

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Air France has chosen Sun Microsystems to meet its worldwide, business-critical communication and collaboration needs.

The carrier will utilise the Sun Java System Portal Server - a key component of the Sun Java Enterprise System - in order to improve worldwide communication amongst its 71,525 global employees. The solution will help increase employee productivity by providing centralised access to email, calendar, human resources, corporate information, search tools and other business applications.

The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
