Air Canada launches weekly service to Martinique.

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2009 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

Air Canada said on Saturday that it was inaugurating its new non-stop service between Montreal and Fort-de-France, Martinique.

The weekly service will be operated on Saturdays in the summer, between 4 July and 29 August 2009. Year-round service on the route will be launched on 5 December 2009.

Flights will be operated using 120-seat Airbus A319 aircraft, with Executive and Economy classes. Connections are available to and from Montreal throughout the province of Quebec and to and from Ottawa and Atlantic Canada.
