African Handball Championship [yen]" Gabon 2018: Tunisia drawn in Group A with Algeria, Cameroon, Congo and Gabon.

(TAP) - The draw for the African Men[yen]AaAaAeAcs Handball Championship (Janua 16-28 in Gabon) has placed Tunisia in Group A alongside Algeria, Cameroon, Congo and host country Gabon.

Group B consists of title holders Egypt, Morocco, DR Congo, Angola and Nigeria.

The teams are divided into two groups of 5 teams. The top four qualify for the quarter-finals.

The competition is dominated by three nations: Tunisia (9 titles), beaten in the final of the last edition by Egypt 19-21, Algeria (7 titles) and Egypt (6 titles).

No other nations have won the title and none has finished in 2nd place since 1983.
