Aeroflex launches Signal Safari v7.

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-1 February 2008-Aeroflex launches Signal Safari v7(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Aeroflex Inc, a supplier of high technology solutions to the aerospace, defence and broadband communication markets, has introduced Signal Safari v7.0, the latest release of its Signal Safari software.

According to the company, Signal Safari has been designed for use with Aeroflex broadband measurement instruments, including broadband signal and environment generators, analyzers, channel simulators and analysis workstations. The new version provides multi-dimensional testing operations and advanced analysis and data generation capabilities for complex wireless communication research and development, microwave testing, signal analysis and satellite communication link test.

When used with the Aeroflex broadband measurement instruments, the solution reportedly allows users to operate with the same interface as the application software installed on the instruments. The software is available in three application configurations: signal analyzer, vector signal player and vector signal simulator.

The software can generate and analyze complex waveforms using a suite of analysis tools within the vector signal simulator and broadband signal analyzer applications. In addition, it aids in generating a broad range of signals, from simple CW tones to complex signal environments containing multiple signals of various communications standards, the company claims.

Signal Safari v7.0 is included on Aeroflex's broadband instruments. The applications are also available for use on workstation computer systems for offline analysis and data file creation capability. No pricing details were disclosed.
