Advisor visits Chest Pain Unit of NICVD.
KARACHI -- Advisor to Chief Minister (CM) Sindh for Information, Law and Anti-corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab Tuesday visited Lyari chest pain unit of National Institute of Cardio Vascular Disease (NICVD).
Speaking on the occasion, he said that chest pain units of NICVD were unique and emerged as successful cardiac emergency programme in the world for providing timely medical aid to patients, said a statement issued here.
He said that over 5000 lives have been saved in a year by giving immediate medical aid to cardio patients at these units.
He said that Sindh government was focusing to improve the health care facilities at Lyari and he appreciated the role of Lyari Chest Pain unit staffers and doctors for serving the people of Lyari.
