Adverse weather hits the fixtures.

Football There were widespread call-offs across junior football fixtures at the weekend.

Wishaw Juniors' fourth round cup tie against Forth Wanderers was called off following a pitch inspection.

It has been rescheduled for this Saturday.

Newmains United FC's game against Vale of Leven was called off for the second weekend in a row.

They next face Dunipace at home on Saturday.

Manager Craig Gupwell said: "It's getting pretty frustrating the number of call offs we've had now.

"Fingers crossed the council manage to get some work done on the park through the week to give it a chance."

Shotts Bon Accord's game against Port Glasgow was also a late call off due to snow lying on the pitch.

Their next fixture is a trip away to Blantyre Vics on February 17.
