Advanced Refining Concepts Commences Expansion of Northern Nevada GDiesel[R] Refinery.

-- Phase II Will Double Output to 200,000 Gallons per Day; Company Sells One Millionth Gallon of GDiesel ([R] ) --

RENO, Nev. -- Advanced Refining Concepts, LLC, (ARC) a privately held developer and manufacturer of proprietary cleaner burning motor and industrial fuels, today announced that it has begun construction on Phase II of its Peru Heights refinery located in Storey County, Nev. The expansion will double the output to 200,000 gallons per day of the company's inaugural product GDiesel([R]), a clean and efficient domestically produced alternative fuel. The project, which will add 10 processing units along with supporting infrastructure, is scheduled for completion in January 2011.

"We just reached a significant milestone, having sold one million gallons of our GDiesel([R]) product," said Peter Gunnerman, director of Advanced Refining Concepts. "This high demand for GDiesel([R]) led us to begin the expansion of our Peru Heights refinery a few months earlier than anticipated. We believe that the increased output will be sufficient for the near term to satisfy our existing local Northern Nevada customers and provide us the flexibility to deliver GDiesel([R]) to customers outside of our immediate service area. Our plan is to continue to increase capacity at our Peru Heights refinery and construct new refineries as demand for GDiesel([R]) grows."

"We are proud that a company of ARC's caliber chose Storey County as its home and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership," said Pat Whitten, county manager of Storey County.

The refinery sits on 10 acres owned by the company at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, a 107,000 acre industrial park located approximately nine miles east of Reno, Nev. The company estimates a minimum of 50 jobs will be created during the construction period. With the addition of Phase II, the Peru Heights refinery will consist of 20 fully automated ClearRefining([R]) units, each capable of producing up to 10,000 gallons of GDiesel([R]) per day.

GDiesel([R]) uses the patented ClearRefining([R])process to create a cleaner burning fuel product that requires no modifications to engines or vehicles for use. GDiesel([R]), recently designated by the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) as an alternative fuel in Nevada's Alternative Fueled Vehicles in Fleets program, is currently being sold to five local and regional Nevada fuel distributors, large retail truck stops, and both large and small diesel fleets.
