Advanced Control Systems, a global provider of smart grid automation technology, is launching the latest release of its core Precision Real-Time Information System Manager (PRISM) system platform.

PRISM is the high-performance real-time foundation of all advanced system solutions delivered by ACS, including ADMS, Outage Management and Energy Management systems. A true 64-bit platform, PRISM 11 is intended to help utilities to deliver real-time information and automate network processes up to ten times faster than with earlier versions.

Advanced Control Systems CEO, Kevin Sullivan, said, 'The fact that this is our eleventh major release of PRISM attests to our commitment to this platform and to the trust that utilities across the globe have placed in PRISM to help them effectively manage the delivery of energy. We listen and understand the needs and challenges of our customers and are always looking to incorporate their suggestions for improvements to our complete suite of advanced solutions.'
