AdvanSys Signs Ingram Micro to Distribute Its Host Adapter Products; World's Largest Distributor of Computer Products Links With Best of SCSI.
The agreement includes technical and customer support of AdvanSys products, in addition to making AdvanSys product information available on its web site. AdvanSys designs, manufactures and markets SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) host adapters and software. Ingram Micro is the world's leading wholesale distributor of technology products and services.
Some of the AdvanSys PCI products Ingram Micro will handle include the Advansys ABP940-U PCI-Ultra SCSI interface board, the ABP940-UW high-performance PCI-Ultra Wide SCSI adapter, and the ABP980U high performance 4-channel PCI-Ultra SCSI adapter.
The AdvanSys PCI products feature SuperSCSI, the industry's first intelligent software-based SCSI installation and configuration tool. SuperSCSI includes SuperInstall for automatic installation and configuration of AdvanSys SCSI devices, and SuperView, an interactive graphical user interface which allows users to see the status of all devices on the SCSI chain and provides on-screen conflict resolution.
