Adrenalin Announces Licensing Agreement With Pro Rodeo Association.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1998--

- Adrenalin to Develop PC and Console Video Games -

Adrenalin Interactive Inc., (Nasdaq:ADRN), and Octagon Entertainment Inc., announced today they have signed an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with Performance Licensing to develop PC and console video games for the International Pro Rodeo Association (IPRA).

The agreement allows Adrenalin to develop game designs and prototypes based on the characteristics of the IPRA and Octagon to pursue exclusive publishing relationships for the property.

Rodeo enthusiasts of all ages, from rookie to pro, can enjoy the thrill of riding a bull or broncs. With over 20 different bulls and broncs to choose from, each ride is a new and exciting challenge. The rodeo clowns provide safety for the player riding a bareback bronc, a bull or even roping a calf from a horse. The friendly competition over networks and the Internet, through realistic virtual rodeo championships, adds to the excitement and intrigue of the game. Once at the pro level, the cowboy or cowgirl, created and named by the player, has a chance to win the IPRA World Championship with points and cash awards!

Jay Smith, Chairman and CEO of Adrenalin, noted, "This licensing agreement is a great opportunity for all companies involved to bring such a popular sport to the PC and video game arena. The ability of the player to create a personalized identity for the rodeo rider, choose from over 20 animals with different personalities, and compete in exhibitions and tournaments at different skill levels, are interesting and unique features of this game. The release of our Pro Rodeo video is expected in the fall of 1999 and, if successful, has the potential to sell in excess of $5 million at retail."

"Pro Rodeo is the perfect entertainment package as it is a broad-based license that appeals to the mass market. This sport has been around for years, is attended by millions and featured on national television, and hundreds of thousands participate in the excitement every year. We think the strong demographics coupled with Adrenalin, arguably the best developer of sports video and computer games around, will make this a hugely successful game that will also easily extend into other entertainment sectors, particularly comics, novelizations, and toys," said Lloyd Melnick, lead Agent for Pro Rodeo at Octagon Entertainment.

Adrenalin Interactive Inc. develops and licenses console video games for Sony, Nintendo and Sega consoles, entertainment titles on PC computers, and Internet "play-to-win-cash" games for the World Wide Web. The Company also develops and licenses Electronic Toys and creates interactive television games for digital set-top boxes. In February 1997, the Company acquired the operations of Western Technologies, a well-established video and computer game developer and electronic toy designer, which has done business as Adrenalin Entertainment or Western Technologies since 1980.

Octagon Entertainment, Inc. arranges financing, publishing, licensing and distribution agreements for game developers worldwide. Octagon also develops interactive entertainment packages, bringing top quality properties together with leading developers to create games that extend into all entertainment sectors. Founded in 1993, Octagon maintains relationships with over 800 publishers and distributors worldwide. Octagon currently represents Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri from Electronic Arts, Peter Molyneux's Black & White, ASC Games' Sanitarium, Douglas Adams' Starship Titanic, and Adrenalin's best-selling Pink Panther Passpol(TM) and Hokus Pokus(TM) PC games.

Performance Licensing licenses the properties of various sporting events, such as the New York Racing Association, and sporting leagues, such as the Arena Football League. The Company also publishes sports magazines including "The Sporting News" and "Soccer America," and licenses toys developed in the United Kingdom such as Teddy Club and Charlie Chalk.
