Adoption advice.

PROSPECTIVE parents wanting to change a child's life are being given advice on adoption. Durham County Council's adoption service is holding a special session next week for anyone thinking about adoption.

The event will take place in the Adoption Resource Centre, Langley Moor, next Wednesday, where social workers will be available to offer advice along with adoptive parents who can share their experiences.

Anyone interested in going along can book an appointment between 4.30pm and 6.30pm by contacting the adoption team on 0191 370 6149 or by emailing adoption@durham.gov.uk Durham County Council Adoption Service was rated as 'outstanding' by Ofsted at the last inspection.
