The Sigma portable arm CMM has its own IP address. It connects
directly to computers or networks. A modular concept allows upgradeable
length through a length change program. Eight different lengths up to 17
ft are standard and custom lengths are available. The Sigma combines a
very strong mechanical design with a very light weight starting at 10
lb. New high resolution encoders and miniaturized electronics also
explain the new level of performance. The Sigma is delivered with G-Pad
