Mercapto and amino functional solid adhesion promoters are available for sulfur cured and metal oxide cured robbers with a two-fold increase in active matter. Two grades, Chartsil B-505.1/2H (mercapto) and Chartsil B-515.1/2H (amino functional), enable the rubber compounder to achieve substantial improvements in adhesion to formed rubber articles, together with improved physicals of the compounded rubber itself at levels of only 0.5 to 1.0 phr, according to the company.
