Aden & Lowe.
Meredith Blair Aden and Mason Ernest Lowe were married at sunset on Friday, June 27, 2008, on the beach in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Rev. Shannon Rogers Manning, Associate Rector at St. James Episcopal Church in Jackson and close friend of the bride and her family, officiated the ceremony in the presence of immediate family members.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Mangum Aden of Jackson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Lorrain Tindall and the late Dr. and Mrs. Aubrey Anslem Aden of Indianola.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Broyles Lowe Jr. of Oxford. He is the grandson of Mr. Ernest Broyles Lowe and the late Mrs. Lowe of Maryville, Tennessee, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hodge Mason of Houston, Texas.
The bride wore a strapless gown of ivory silk slipper satin with a contoured lace-covered bodice encrusted with Swarovski crystals and iridescent sequins and beads. The modified A-line gown featured a pick up skirt, chapel-length train, and a sash of latte-satin with an antique pin of gold, crystals, and pearls. The bride carried a bouquet of vibrant tropical flowers, blue hydrangeas, and calla and glorioso lilies. Meredith was the 13th bride in her family to carry an antique lace handkerchief, first carried by her great-great-grandmother in 1890.
Aubrey Simon of Shreveport, Louisiana, niece of the bride, and Sarah and Laura Narvaez of Round Rock, Texas, nieces of the groom, served as flower girls for the ceremony. Stewart and Patrick Simon of Shreveport, Louisiana, nephews of the bride, served as ring bearers for the ceremony. The flower girls wore handmade dresses of turquoise linen trimmed with ivory ribbons, and the ring bearers wore matching turquoise linen shirts with tan linen slacks.
Dolce Duo of Birmingham, Alabama, played classical flute and guitar during the ceremony. Marsha Tindall of Indianola, aunt of the bride, was the soloist for the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, guests celebrated at a reception on the terrace at the Santa Rosa Beach Club. The guests enjoyed dinner and dancing in a setting with bright tropical flowers, seashells, and candles overlooking the Gulf of Mexico before the couple left under an arch of sparklers in a golf cart.
The night before the wedding, the groom's parents entertained guests with cocktails and dinner at the Ocean Club in Destin, Florida.
Following a honeymoon trip to Dubai and South Africa, the couple resides in Jackson, where the bride is the Director of Legal Writing at Mississippi College School of Law, and the groom is an attorney with Bradley Arant Rose & White.
