Adelphia Selects Sandvine to Protect Subscribers from Worms and Spam.

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. & WATERLOO, Ontario -- Sandvine intelligent broadband network solution to be deployed network-wide

Sandvine Incorporated, world leader in providing intelligent broadband network solutions, today announced that Adelphia Communications Corporation (OTC: ADELQ), the fifth-largest cable television company in the US, is deploying Sandvine's award-winning solutions across its North American network. Sandvine's solution allows Adelphia to enhance subscriber quality of experience (QoE) by protecting broadband applications from malicious attacks and competing traffic.

Sandvine's breadth of features, scalable architecture, and application-aware reporting capability were key to Adelphia's deployment decision. This market-leading solution gives Adelphia visibility into its broadband traffic enabling them to manage network resources, roll out new services, and enhance subscriber quality of experience.
