Adele takes heart for jump.

Health worker Adele Dawes is to skydive from 10,000ft in a bid to overcome her fear of heights and raise money for charity along the way.

The 23-year-old clerical and data administrator with Darlington's Drug Intervention Programme has already tried abseiling from the top of the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough but is now planning the big jump.

Adele plans to complete the jump attached to an instructor at Peterlee Parachute Centre on June 4.

She hopes the feat will raise pounds 400 to pounds 500 and is on the look out for more sponsors.

Proceeds will be donated to the British Heart Foundation as a friend's three-year-old child has heart problems.
