Additional Special Events Added to Impressive Seybold San Francisco 2004 Educational Conference Program.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Recently Added Programs Include Sponsored Events by Red Herring, HP, Quark, Autonomy, Global Society for Asset Management (G-SAM) and Leading Content Management Vendors

MediaLive International, Inc. today announced additions to the conference program and Pavilion floor at Seybold(R) San Francisco 2004, which will offer its most in-depth, practical educational program ever. These additions include: Red Herring's conference on magazine entrepreneurship in the digital age; HP Education Sessions on digital publishing solutions and color managed inkjet printing; the HP Digital Imaging Gallery, a fine art exhibit incorporating HP's printing technologies; free educational sessions every half-hour at the Seybold SF Presentation Theater featuring Quark and Autonomy; "Birds-of-a-Feather" informal sessions for sharing ideas and knowledge with colleagues; free admission to the Global Society for Asset Management (G-SAM) San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Meeting; and the "Seybold Seven," seven-minute sessions with seven leading content management vendors to discuss the cutting-edge products they're bringing to market. Seybold(R) San Francisco 2004 will take place August 16-19 at Moscone West.

--Red Herring Conference: On Wednesday, August 18, Red Herring will present "The Business of Publishing a Magazine," a conference featuring Red Herring moderators and notable industry panelists that will include three roundtable forums: "The Business of Starting, Running and Owning a New Magazine in 2004"; "Technology in Publishing Today"; and "This is Not Your Father's Magazine: New Media Ideas"

--HP Education Sessions: Daily classes will be facilitated by HP Enterprise Publishing Consultants and focus on two topics: digital publishing solutions that deliver marketing results and color managed inkjet printing for design, print and photo

--HP Digital Imaging Gallery: HP printing technologies will be used to display this fine art exhibit featuring excerpts from Michael Collopy entitled "Architects of Peace -- Visions of Hope in Words and Images"

--Seybold SF Presentation Theater sponsored by Quark: Free educational sessions running every half hour featuring presentations by Quark, Autonomy and Seybold tutorial instructors in the "Seybold Masters Series"

--Birds-Of-A-Feather Sessions: These informal sessions will provide the perfect forum to exchange ideas with colleagues, network with peers and share knowledge and ideas on current topics

--Global Society for Asset Management (G-SAM) San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Meeting: On Wednesday, August 18th at 5:00 p.m., join G-SAM members from Adobe Systems, Avid Technologies, BBDO, Proctor & Gamble, Quark and Sony Pictures to learn the who, what and why of G-SAM, free to all members, prospective members, end-users and interested parties

--Seybold Seven: On Thursday, August 19th at 4:00 p.m., this session will provide seven-minute demonstrations of the latest and greatest content management tools from seven leading content management vendors as part of the Content Management Intensive sponsored by Autonomy
