Connectivity solutions provider Adder announced today the release of its ADDERView AV4PRO-DP KVM switch and CATX-DP computer access module.
The AV4PRO-DP, part of the ADDERView PRO range of professional grade keyboard, video mouse and audio (KVMA) switches, is the first Adder KVM switch to feature DisplayPort video. It also includes USB True Emulation technology.
Applications for the device include medical imaging, broadcast and command and control environments.
The DisplayPort Computer Access Module (CAM) enables the CATx and CATxIP range of KVM switches together with the ADDERLink X200 extender to connect directly to a dual-mode DisplayPort interface.
Adder's new CATX-DP CAM is available in both full size and mini DisplayPort form and is suitable for Apple computer environments, the company said.
