Adam Levine Defends 'I Hate This Country' Remark on 'The Voice'.
After the shocking announcement that Sarah Simmons and Judith Hill would no longer continue on in the competion, a stunned Levine looked at judge Shakira and mouthed "What?" The singer then muttered into his mic "I hate this country."
Twitter feeds around the nation roared to life following that statement as viewers expressed their disspaointment and digust in Levine's remark. Still many Levine fans weren't as upset with his comment, offering their support to the Marron 5 frontman. Kaley Walsh tweeted: "LOL ppl harassing @adamlevine over his comment 'I hate this country' I'd hate this country too if my team got voted off."

"This is really hard for me, and I've had a lot of anxiety," she said. "The concept of it being a contest has been really hard for me to digest, so I think the most important thing I've got to do is find my Zen and my calm and just be who I am, and not worry about people judging me."
"The Voice" season finale is slated for June 18 at 9pm on NBC.
