Automating the Supply Chain
Active Software, Inc. The combined solution will provide a seamless flow of information between the systems of competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs) and suppliers such as incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs), facilitating the rapid exchange of preordering and ordering information with existing customer care and billing applications. The NightFire and Active Software solution will enable CLECs to:
-- rapidly deploy end-to-end order processing, allowing CLECs and
their suppliers to quickly access data in real-time at any
point in the supply chain regardless of their specific
-- automate preordering and ordering processes for unbundled
local loops and other services from suppliers including
incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs) and inter-exchange
carriers (IXCs), allowing CLECs to obtain accurate and
up-to-date product information from their business trading
The NightFire/Active Software solution will be demonstrated at Telestrategies' Billing 2000 at Active Software's booth No. 122. The demonstration will show how an order is managed across the entire supply chain by automating ordering processes and seamlessly exchanging ordering information between NightFire(TM) SupplierExpress(R) and Siebel and Portal applications. The NightFire/Active Software solution will be available in Q4 2000.
