Active Software, Inc. (Nasdaq:ASWX), a leading provider of eBusiness infrastructure software products, today announced that they are expanding their existing partnership with American Management Systems (AMS) (Nasdaq: AMSY) to provide the adaptive enterprise application integration (EAI) software for the AMS 360si eBusiness Integration Approach targeted at Integrated Communications Providers (ICPs).

Utilizing Active Software's ActiveWorks(TM) Integration System, the AMS 360si framework encompasses the business processes, business logic and integration products required to deliver an integrated Operations Support System (OSS) platform, enabling communications companies to rapidly become eBusinesses.

The AMS 360si approach will be demonstrated at Supercomm 2000 at MetaSolv Software Inc.'s Partner Pavilions Booth No. 4027.

In AMS 360si, Active Software's ActiveWorks Integration System provides the eBusiness integration software to integrate the various packaged and custom applications in an ICP IT environment.
