Actional launches new integration software.
Worldwide Computer Products News-14 December 2000-Actional launches new integration software (C)1995-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.comActional has released what it claims to be the industry's first end-to-end packaged integration system that comes with a 20-day implementation cycle guarantee.
The new Actional X system can be used for the rapid development of dynamic, personalised interaction and real-time access to a host of business services - from auctions to procurement and online exchanges.
The software also eliminates the complexity of implementation by allowing external business services to run in process with customer-facing applications and without inserting new middleware - unlike conventional enterprise application integration software, according to Actional.
The first Actional X version is called Actional X Marketplace, and it supports Commerce One BuySite and SAP R/3. Pricing begins at USD200,000. Upcoming releases will include support for PeopleSoft and Oracle applications.
