Action Arms plans import of Skorpion pistol.

Pending upon BATF approval, Action Arms of Philadelphia, Pa., has plans to import the legendary Skorpion pistol. Instead of the .32 S&W that this Eastern Bloc design normally fires, however, the new Action Arms version will be chambered in .380 ACP. The new pistol will feature semi-auto-only action and will be missing the wire shoulder stock, but military collectors are sure to want to add this historically significant firearm to their gun collections.

In other news, Action Arms, importers of the CZ line of pistols and rifles, recently announced that the CZ-85 is now available in .40 S&W. The addition of the caliber to the present 9x19 and 9x21 chamberings means this, the original CZ pistol, is now available in a big-bore format.

The new pistol will also feature a firing pin block in the slide. In fact, Action Arms says that eventually all the CZ-75 and CZ-85 pistols will feature firing pin blocks. The CZ-85 Compac already has the firing pin block for increased safety.
