* US Patent No. 8,383,566 B2; Reckitt Benckiser LLC has patented acidic hard surface cleaning compositions that exhibit good removal of greasy stains and concurrently also exhibit good soap scum removal from hard surfaces.

The compositions are comprised of anionic surfactants; a nonionic surfactant constituent which is both about 0.5-2.5% wt. of a first alcohol ethoxylate nonionic surfactant derived from monobranched alkoxylated C10-fatty alcohols and/or C11-fatty alcohols and about 0.05-0.5% wt. of a second alcohol ethoxylate nonionic surfactant; one or more further surfactants selected from amphoteric or zwitterionic surfactants, but which expressly exclude cationic surfactants; an organic solvent constituent; alkanolamine; and acid constituent which comprises a ternary acid system comprising each of sulfamic acid, formic acid and oxalic acid in a respective weight ratio of sulfamic acid:formic acid:oxalic acid of 1-8:1-5:1-3; optionally one or more further constituents which are directed to improving one or more aesthetic or functional features of the composition; and water.

The compositions have a pH of approximately 2 or less.
