Acer America Announces Major Price Reductions on Popular Texas Instruments Extensa Notebook Computers

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Further demonstrating its commitment to lead the mobile computing industry in price/performance value, Acer America today announced dramatic price reductions across its line of
award-winning Texas Instruments Extensa notebook computers. Reductions in estimated street prices range from 15 to 31 percent. All pricing is effective immediately.

The Extensa 900's companion Mobile Productivity Base, which can be detached quickly from the notebook computer for more convenient travel down the hall or across the country, has been reduced from $599 to $499.

Extensa 660 Series -- High-Powered, Mid-Range Mobile Computers with MMX Technology
