Accused involved for torching PESCO staffers arrested.
PESHAWAR -- Police arrested an accused Asghar on charges of torturing officials of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) when they were trying to remove his alleged temperate electric meter.
Under the supervision of XEN Peshawar Cantonment, the checking team of Gulberg sub division PESCO, has removed the tempered electric meter of accused Asghar son of Abdul Ghafar, resident of Gulberg.
On replacement of the tempered meter, the accused was annoyed and he along with his friends snatched the meter from officials and tortured them.
On this, the Pesco team has lodged an FIR against the accused in police station Banamari Peshawar.
Police have arrested the accused and started investigation.
