Accenture awarded contract by Guinness Anchor.

Management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company Accenture (NYSE:ACN) announced on Thursday that it has signed a contract with Malaysian beer and stout company Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB) to license and implement its Accenture CAS software platform.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the agreement, Accenture will implement the Accenture CAS software platform to help GAB deliver an improved distributor management system and gain enhanced insights into the performance of its in-store promotions.

According to the company, the software platform will replace multiple systems currently in use at GAB. It will offer the brewer a consistent sales platform that is integrated into its overall IT landscape, enabling better returns on commercial investments, streamlined business processes, greater efficiency and simplicity.
