Academic publisher Now Publishers, Inc. (Hanover, MA) will launch two new quarterly journals in 2007. "Foundations and Trends in Databases" will cover the range of topics relating to the management of large volumes of data. Editorial will cover such topics as deductive databases, data integration and exchange, data mining, database design and tuning, storage, data models and data cleaning and information extraction. "Foundations and Trends in Signal Processing" will publish survey and tutorial articles on the foundations of algorithms, methods and applications of signal processing. Content will cover: adaptive signal processing; audio signal processing; machine learning; image and video processing; linear and non-linear filtering; and, biological and biomedical signal processing, among other topics. An annual print subscription to either title costs $315.
