Members of the delegation inquired about the health of bed-ridden children and elderly, met with their families and distributed giveaways; creating a positive atmosphere.
The ADCED delegation was shown the state of the art medical facilities, visited various departments and got an insight about the progressive medical care and treatment provided at SKMC, which is managed by the Cleveland Clinic.
The delegation was also acquainted with the health awareness campaigns launched by the medical city to raise community awareness about various issues related to their physical and mental health. The delegation was accompanied on the tour by officials and doctors of SKMC.
Dima Abdullah Al Bawardi, manager of the Public Relations Unit at the Corporate Communications Division in ADCED, expressed her admiration of the excellent medical efforts performed by SKMC to ensure the safety and comfort of all patients, as well as of the health awareness campaigns developed recently to raise community awareness.
"We organised this visit to meet with sick children and elderly, provide them with psychological and emotional support they require, and wish them good health and wellness as to celebrate the arrival of the New Year," she said.
"This visit reflects ADCED's commitment towards consolidating community values based on communication and compassion, promoting a positive model of community relations, and partnering with strategic partners to serve the local community and public interests," Al Bawardi added. - TradeArabia News Service
