Abu Dhabi's Capital Grill steakhouse unveils new chef.

The Capital Grill steakhouse at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi has appointed Daniel Vicente Antunes as the new chef de cuisine.

A Portuguese national, Antunes brings more than 13 years of experience in Mediterranean cuisine, across countries including the USA, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and Saudi Arabia. Having worked at Michelin-starred restaurants across the Europe, Antunes has already infused his culinary finesse and expertise into the steakhouse in pursuit of taking it to a whole new level in the city.

"Let me take you on a memorable culinary journey at the Abu Dhabi's favourite steakhouse" said Antunes in a statement.

The Capital Grill at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi is a lifestyle steakhouse serving a selection of premium aged meat cuts from the farms of US, Australia and Ireland. The signature steaks include Australian Wagyu, Irish John Stone and Black Angus tenderloin which are prepared live in front of diners.

The restaurant features an open plan show kitchen adjacent to a lounge area for enjoying pre and post cocktails in a smoke-free setting.
