Absolute takeover.

BIRSTALL-based Absolute Invoice Finance has changed hands for the second time in two months.

Absolute, which provides factoring and invoice discounting to small and medium-sized firms, has been bought by Aldermore Bank PLC from AnaCap Financial Partners.

The former Cattles Invoice Finance was relaunched as Absolute Invoice Finance in September - when AnaCap completed its pounds 70m takeover of the business.

New owner Aldermore said the acquisition would enable Absolute to provide a broader range of specialist finance services to existing and prospective customers as well as strengthen its pool of funding.

The move will not affect the day-to-day running of Absolute or its services to clients.
