About 765 young entrepreneurs to partake in 7th "Riyeda" fair.

(TAP) -- 765 established young entrepreneurs, 271 business leaders and 48 Tunisian investors will participate, on February 12-13 in the 7th edition of the "Riyeda" Entrepreneurship Fair.
The aim of this event is to help project idea holders to explore new career paths, find funding and develop their network.
The fair will host all representatives of the entrepreneurship sphere, including businessmen, economic experts, funders, civil society representatives, etc, CEO of the event's organising company "Tunisie Place de Marche" Skander Haddar pointed out at a press conference held on Tuesday in Tunis.
"Our aim is to offer an opportunity to project holders to get into contact with businessmen and economic operators to establish partnership and cooperation relations, likely to ensure the sustainability, development and growth of their projects," he indicated.
The fair's programme includes several components, notably the "Riyeda Hackathon for Start-ups," that will help attract and connect Tunisian start-ups operating in the mobile applications field in agriculture.
Experts, coaches and mentors will be present for guidance and orientation.
There is also the "Riyeda Challenge," a competition dedicated to project holders who need support and funding. "Out of a total of 200 young entrepreneurs who applied, we selected 45 in a first pre-selection based on three criteria, namely innovation, development potential and environmental impact. We will subsequently select 6 finalists, 3 projects of which will be winners," he said.
Besides, the official added that this important event, that will host over 10 thousand visitors, will be marked by a programme rich in academic conferences (15 panels) and workshops (11 information workshops) to mainly focus on themes as management, assistance and coaching, etc.
